High performance stepper motors now cost
less

Tamagawa has introduced a range of stepper motors which compare favourably with other high performance models but at much lower cost.

Considerable investment in high quality, volume manufacturing techniques has allowed Tamagawa to introduce a range of stepper motors which compare favourably with other high performance models but at much lower cost Now available in the UK through Encoder Technology, this new HB Series is characterised by consistent quality, accurate positioning, high torque, high speed response and light weight

The motors are also maintenance-free.

The new stepper motor range is just one of a huge number of motors and drives from Tamagawa.

This multi-faceted company is one of Japan's leading manufacturers which is now commanding significant market share in Europe.

High demand for its products has led to volume production, the benefit of which is reflected in lower unit prices.

The HB (hybrid) Series is a combination of a PM (permanent magnet) and a VR (variable reluctance) design of two-phase stepper motor.

HB Steppers are available in a comprehensive choice of sizes and step angles to suit most positioning applications.

The range also includes a miniature model, available with encoder feedback.

The HB11 measures just 27mm square.

It has a 15ø step angle and holding torque of 200 g/cm.

Contd./ - For higher speed and even higher accuracy applications, Encoder Technology has also introduced the Tamagawa Quin Tep(r) range of stepper motors and drivers.

These FIVE-PHASE models provide higher maximum starting pulse thanks to low inertia. Request a free brochure from Encoder Technology ...
