Eplon taken over by Encoder Technology

On 31st May 2000 contracts were exchanged for the sale and purchase of the entire share capital of Eplon Engineering Company Ltd Eplon was established thirty years ago by Ron Epps and Tony Hierons, the current directors

Commenting on the sale Ron Epps, Eplon s Managing Director said "Tony and I have built this company up over many years to a very successful business and are very proud of our achievements.
We are pleased to be handing over the reins to a company with a similar obsession for quality and engineering excellence - we know it will be safe in their hands".
Eplon is set to have a bright future with planned investment to expand the manufacturing and assembly capability.
Explained Robert Worrall "We were attracted to Eplon for a number of key strategic reasons.
The word synergy is often overworked but in this case it is absolutely appropriate.
Both companies enjoy an excellent reputation for quality and we operate in similar markets with a high class customer base that we are keen to nurture".
