Software allows long-term noise monitoring
The noise management terminal software ensures the retrieval of this data through its user interface, which contains a built-in geographic information system.
Training courses advance sound and vibration
The ISVR Advanced Course consists of a three-day core element, which is preceded by an optional two-day refresher in the principles of vibration and acoustics.
Applications for the new 100700-02 include a broad range of flight craft including military attack and cargo aircraft, commercial aircraft, trainers, drones/RPVs/UAVs, helicopters, racing aircraft and general aviation craft.
Now being used in experimental aircraft, business jet and helicopter applications, the 100700-02 is based on a heated probe that is constructed from machined aluminium, stainless steel and brass and is wind tunnel tested to Mach 0.95.
The heated probe is 28V DC powered (145A) and meets the requirements of MIL-T-5420B and SAE AS 393.
The probe incorporates a heated internal water trap and drain.
The angle of attack and angle of sideslip vanes use precision, long-life (>20 million shaft revolutions), dual ganged, conductive plastic potentiometers.
Synchro output and dual vane configurations are optionally available.
The heated air data boom weighs less than 3kg and is approximately 760mm in length.
It can be mounted on an aircraft's nose, wingtip or tail.
The 100700-02 provides users with excellent price-performance compared with alternatives.
With over 50 years experience, Bruel and Kjaer is a world leading manufacturer and supplier of sound and vibration products for use in a wide range of applications including environmental noise measurements, building acoustics, vibration measurements and quality control for use in the automotive, aerospace and consumer industries as well as by local authorities.
