A technical workshop on 20th and 21st May 2003 at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire will focus on transducer and conditioning applications.

A technical workshop on 20th and 21st May 2003 at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire will focus on transducer and conditioning applications.

The workshop, which is focused at engineers and technicians looking to improve their theoretical and practical knowledge of vibration and acoustics technologies, is organised by two of the world's leading sound and vibration specialist engineering companies, Bruel and Kjaer UK and Endevco.

The half-day transducer and conditioning workshop covers transducer technologies, cabling source errors, mounting considerations, 'Smart' TEDS transducers and signal conditioning equipment.

The workshop addresses all aspects of accelerometer use including high temperature integral electronics and associated cabling.

The workshop forms part of a sound and vibration technical symposium being held on 20th and 21st May 2003 at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire.

The event will also feature a couple of two-day seminars.

One seminar will address the principles of acoustics while the other seminar examines the principles of vibration.
