Bruel and Kjaer to support Maya HTT's noise and vibration software products and active software maintenance contracts that it recently acquired when it bought MTS.
Bruel and Kjaer has become the exclusive sales and support distributor for Canadian software development company Maya HTT's noise and vibration (NVH) software products and active software maintenance contracts that Maya HTT recently acquired when it bought MTS.
The partnership is committed to continuing the sales and support of I-Deas Pro and related software for noise and vibration analysis, serving new and existing customers for products previously owned by MTS.
"The accelerating time-to-market that vehicle manufacturers expect is transforming the way the world engages with NVH problems", said Bruel and Kjaer's Managing Director Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen.
"Bruel and Kjaer is at the centre of this trend, and the I-Deas test products are a perfect supplement to our Pulse software and hardware platform, and our sensor technology".
"I-Deas Pro already has measurement support for Bruel and Kjaer Pulse acquisition hardware, and data can be acquired and shared between both products".
Maya HTT was founded in 1982 and specialises in engineering software development and associated services.
Working with its strategic alliance partner UGS, Maya HTT has an installed software base of 4000 users.
As an experienced I-Deas product developer, and with an expanded development team, Maya HTT will complete all software development activities on the acquired MTS products to ensure that future product maintenance needs and market-driven enhancements are provided in releases closely aligned with the UGS I-Deas and Bruel and Kjaer product strategies.
Bruel and Kjaer assumes responsibility for all technical product support, and its global support network will be expanded with additional qualified personnel experienced in the MTS NVH product lines.
For many years a distributor of I-Deas Pro and related products in Japan, Bruel and Kjaer is prepared to provide this support.
The company will work directly with customers to understand their current situation and assist them in meeting future requirements with a combination of the acquired product lines, the Pulse product family and associated accessories.
Bruel and Kjaer will contact MTS users directly to provide contact information for technical and sales support, and answer any specific questions.
