Endevco's new TEDS Reader is a portable engineering tool that enables users to quickly and easily review the full contents of any embedded IEEE P1451.4 transducer electronic datasheet via a PDA.

Endevco's new TEDS Reader is a portable engineering tool that enables users to quickly and easily review the full contents of any embedded IEEE P1451.4 TEDS (transducer electronic datasheet) using a PDA (pocket PC) Using a Dell Axim X3 PDA (pocket PC) as its control/readout device, the system displays the contents of the TEDS memory chip located inside the transducer, including important information such as sensitivity, location and calibration coefficients

The TEDS Reader shows the entire transducer data sheet in full detail, in contrast to similar devices that only read certain lines of a template.

Engineers can also use the PDA to write task-specific information to user fields in the TEDS Reader, as defined in the standard.

The rugged TEDS Reader was built to the highest quality standards and has undergone rigorous testing to assure high performance in virtually any environment.

The system also includes an interface cable with 10-32 transducer connector.
