Programme targets the academic middle
Endevco has joined forces with Advancement Via Individual Determination to help local students learn about college career opportunities and how to achieve success.
Endevco recently joined forces with Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) to help 7th and 8th graders at San Juan Capistrano's Marco Forster Middle School learn about college career opportunities and how to achieve success with both AVID, a programme that started in the San Diego area some 20 years ago, targets students in the "academic middle" who have the desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard, but may lack the financial resources or exposure to role models to help them pursue their dream
