Accelerometer resists interference
The Endevco Model 7293A Microtron accelerometer family uses unique variable capacitance microsensors and incorporates special filtering and shielding for EMI and RFI exposure.
The Eurofighter Programme will go through 2020 with spares requirements through 2030.
This is a tremendous win for both ITP and Endevco and the foundation for a true partnership between the two companies.
ITP, Spanish member of the Eurojet consortium, has been involved from early stages in design, manufacturing, assembly and maintenance of the EJ200 engine.
The company has a 16.6% share in this new production contract (Tranche 2).
This second batch involves the manufacturing of 519 new EJ200 engines, to be fitted into 236 Eurofighter 2000 aircraft.
It is part of the framework contract for the production of 1382 engines, which was signed in 1998.
ITP will be manufacturing the 519 module assemblies for which it is responsible in the Eurojet consortium, and will also be assembling and acceptance-testing the 72 engines to be produced for the Spanish Air Force.
