New range of industrial accelerometers
This range of industrial Isotron accelerometer types use an Endevco high performance shear design piezoelectric sensor, with integral low-noise hybrid electronics
These sophisticated systems provide real-time scoring assessment for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, tanks and armored vehicles, infantry, ships and other naval craft.
In addition, together with scoring services, subscale and full-scale targets provide the necessary accuracy assessment and training vital to the preparedness of national defense forces.
At the Endevco facility, Congressmen Calvert had the opportunity to see first-hand the company's state-of-the-art technology used by such clients as NASA, the US military, Johnson and Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, GM and Honeywell.
He learned about Endevco products for a wide range of applications including NASA Space Shuttle monitoring, aerospace engineering, automotive safety testing, in-flight gas turbine vibration monitoring, submarine silencing systems and heart pacemaker monitoring.
Discussion also included important projects related to protection of military personnel in battle and homeland security.
Congressman Calvert addressed the entire Endevco staff and fielded questions from the audience.
Congressman Royce serves on the Financial Services and International Relations Committees.
Congressman Calvert serves on the House Science Committee as Chairman of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee, on the Armed Services Committee, and on the Resources Committee.
