Endevco, a Meggitt Group company, is to hold its Fall Accelerometer Calibration Workshop, facilitated by industry specialist Jon S Wilson.
During this two-day event, which is scheduled to be held at Endevco's corporate headquarters, participants will learn about: motion and dynamic motion; shock motion; how shock and vibration are measured; shock calibration, techniques and systems; electrodynamic shakers and controls; accelerometer performance characteristics and error sources; reference accelerometer characteristics; and signal conditioning.
They will also discover the 'dos' and 'don'ts' of calibration statistics, error analysis, accuracy and uncertainty, calibration standards and specifications.
