Endevco announces dates for calibration workshop

On 6-8 October 2009, Endevco will host its annual Accelerometer Calibration workshop, which will be presided over by dynamic measurement expert Jon S Wilson.
During this two-day event, participants will learn about: motion and dynamic motion; shock motion; how shock and vibration are measured; shock calibration, techniques and systems; electrodynamic shakers and controls; accelerometer performance characteristics and error sources; reference accelerometer characteristics; signal conditioning; dos and don'ts of calibration; statistics, error analysis, accuracy and uncertainty; and calibration standards and specifications.
The Endevco Accelerometer Calibration workshop includes hands-on demonstrations of many different types of calibration systems.
Supplied text will include Endevco's Shock and Vibration Measurement Technology, supplemented by Endevco technical papers and other handouts prepared specifically for the course.
