A new software development kit works in conjunction with Engineered Software's innovative Pipe-Flo Professional program used to design and simulate the operation of fluid piping systems.
Software kit helps with new marine ballast system
Engineered Software has launched its first product utilising its new Pipe-Flo Software Development Kit (SDK), the Glosten Ballast Management System.
Engineered Software's Chief Engineer, Ray Hardee will be presenting "Pipe-Flo Overtime - a dynamic problem solving simulation tool" on Tuesday 1st November at 1500 local time in Theatre A of the Javits Centre.
Engineered Software will be displaying its entire product line at Booth 1100 throughout the show.
"We are proud to be presenting our latest release, Pipe-Flo Overtime, at the Chem Show in New York City", said Ray Hardee, Chief Engineer at Engineered Software.
"Pipe-Flo Overtime is a major technological advancement in hydraulic analysis and we look forward to giving engineers a chance to see the benefits of the program up close through a live demonstration".
The recently released Pipe-Flo Overtime program works in conjunction with the Engineered Software's industry standard Pipe-Flo Professional program.
Overtime improves on Pipe-Flo Professional's steady-state analysis by conducting a dynamic simulation of how a system operates over a specific range of time.
"Analysing different scenarios quickly and accurately using Overtime takes the guess work out of the 'what-if' situations that engineers spend tremendous amounts of time preparing for", Hardee said.
Pipe-Flo Overtime's VCR controls make it easy to playback, pause, rewind and a fast forward to any point in the simulation to gain a detailed look at what is happening within the system during each time interval.
Pipe-Flo Overtime is also equipped with a powerful graphing feature that allows users to better visualise their results by creating custom graphs.
Engineered Software will also be displaying its entire product line at Weftec in Washington, DC from 30th October to 2nd November on Booth 5621 in Hall A.
The Pipe-Flo product line is used by designers and operators to gain a clear picture of their fluid piping systems.
The program allows users to visualise their systems in a familiar format, calculate system operations, easily communicate the design with others and access supporting documents in electronic format.
