Carpenter becomes local IoD Secretary
Derek Carpenter, Sales and Marketing Director of Enviro Tech Europe, has become the Secretary of the South Yorkshire Branch Committee of the Institute of Directors.
Derek Carpenter, Sales and Marketing Director of Enviro Tech Europe, has become the Secretary of the South Yorkshire Branch Committee of the Institute of Directors.
A well known specialist in metal and plastics cleaning within Europe, Carpenter is well known for encouraging education in the safe use of chemicals.
His reputation for good organisation and events management will prove useful to IoD.
Commenting on his new responsibility Carpenter said: "The Institute of Directors has been the voice of industry for a hundred years".
"The IoD is a highly regarded brand and whilst its intention is to serve the membership it can also be said the community interest is also well served".
