Luminaires come in over 100 options
The Ensto Briticent 2000 range of internal and external mains luminaires comprises lanterns, bulkhead and ceiling-mounted fittings, including models with PIR [passive infrared] detection
They meet all major international standards and incorporate a number of innovative design features.
They provide connections with conductors ranging from 1.5mm2 copper through to 300mm2 aluminium.
They come with high quality coatings; terminals are tinned and terminal parts are greased to prevent oxidation.
Attention to detail is evident throughout, from the perforated contact surface - designed to disperse the oxidation surface on the conductor - through to an in-built spring system that reacts to any heating of the conductor or terminal block.
A particularly useful feature of the rail-mounted terminals that fit TS35 rail is the ability to remove the cover to allow the conductor to be dropped in.
This is especially useful on larger conductor sizes.
The range includes a host of terminal blocks that are suitable for use in various types of distribution boards, and for connecting copper and aluminium cables and conductors.
These include standard, universal, transition, and stud terminal blocks, together with universal and transition tapping blocks.
Ensto Briticent also offers universal terminals designed for mounting direct to switches and larger fuse bases, for both aluminium and copper conductors.
For single connections, the terminals are certified as T2, and can therefore be used for cables with temperatures over 80 degrees C and with a maximum short circuit temperature of 250 degrees C.
Other products on offer include clamps for circular busbars - used for the tapping of copper conductors and for connection to copper or copper-plated bars - and tapping blocks for use in distribution boards.
Terminal accessories, including connecting plates and neutral and earthing equipment completes the range.
