Envirowise announces eco-design seminar

An Envirowise product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 12, 2008

Sustainable business experts Envirowise are urging businesses to find out how tackling the issue of over-packaging can save them money by signing up for a free online webinar in early 2009.

Taking place on 25 February, the webinar is aimed at product and packaging designers to help them deal with rising material costs and increasing pressure to improve environmental credentials.

Participants can take part in a virtual seminar covering practical elements of eco-design including re-design exercises, comments from key stakeholders in the design industry and alive re-design activity decided on the day by participants.

Mark Tosey, director at design agency Brightgreen, took part in the last Envirowise eco-design webinar in October.

'The webinar was very useful and communicated issues around sustainable design with live discussion and debate,' he said.
