Ensinger was at Wilfried Way, where his company has set up its new main UK base.
The site also houses a dedicated facility producing engineering and high performance plastic components for blue chip clients.
The move from Llantrisant Business Park to these larger premises has provided the space for the creation of the new jobs.
The German-owned company now employs 100 people at Tonyrefail and a total of more than 200 at its seven UK sites.
It also has operations in mainland Europe, the USA, South America and Asia.
The official opening was carried out by Ensinger's wife Martha, and the honourary German Consul in Wales, Helga Rother-Simmonds, was also in attendance.
And to give guests from Europe and the USA a good Welsh welcome, the Rhondda-based Cor Meibion Morlais provided musical entertainment.
Ensinger founded the company 40 years ago, and his diverse social, cultural and scientific work has earned him the Federal German Government's Order of Merit, presented last month by President Horst Kohler.
Ensinger said at the opening: "Innovation has been the key to our growth in the UK, and particularly here in Wales".
"We manufacture engineering and high performance plastics for a very wide range of applications".
"They are made from new materials that find their way into new applications that were previously either impossible to achieve, or very expensive due to reliance on metals or ceramics".
"This approach has resulted in a growing business in Wales, and we are pleased to be in the Welsh Top 300".
"We have an excellent and committed workforce and we look forward to further growth at our excellent new site at Tonyrefail".
Ensinger produces a huge range of extruded, cast and compression moulded semi-finished parts made from more than 100 different plastics.
It also provides bespoke parts for clients - from the creation of complex single parts to the production of structural components.
The opening took place on Friday 13th January at Wilfried Way, Tonyrefail.
