An E-Components and Chains product story

A unique manufacturing process, involving the inclusion of a metallic pigment, enables the Detectamet ties to be detected more easily than standard ties.

E-Components and Chains of Pocklington UK has launched its new range of Detectamet Metal detectable plastic cable ties.

They are specifically designed for use within the food and pharmaceutical industries.

A unique manufacturing process, involving the inclusion of a metallic pigment, enables the Detectamet ties to be detected more easily than standard ties.

They are bright blue in colour to assist detection, as well as offering total metal dispersion throughout the body of the tie.

They are halogen-free, greatly reducing the risk of contamination.

They can be used as part of the HACCP process, are X-ray visible, ideal for sack and bag tying, and are available in nylon and polypropylene versions.

New sizes now available in both Detectamet grades are: 92 x 2.4mm, 186 x 4.8mm, 340 x 7.0mm, and 360 x 4.8mm.
