EOS focuses on laser sintering at AUVSI

EOS Electro Optical Systems is to exhibit its laser-sintering systems at the 2009 Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) event in Washington DC, US.
The company will showcase its capabilities and resources at the Unmanned Systems North America Conference on 10-13 August 2009 at the Walter E Washington Convention Center.
EOS will display parts made in its Eosint P line of plastics laser-sintering systems as well as a range of parts in different metals from the Eosint M 270.
Laser sintering's capability for mass customisation and building of intricate shapes is of benefit to the broader aerospace market.
EOS customers have used such direct manufacturing methods to create components for commercial and defence aircraft.
