Engineering document manager Provanum Group will be exhibiting at Procurex 2008 at the SECC, Glasgow, 29-30 October.

Procurex 2008 is Scotland's first exhibition dedicated to procurement and entrance is free.

Provanum will demonstrate its Trix Organizer engineering document management system, which stores all files inside a secure Microsoft SQL Server database.

On-site or shop floor users can rapidly locate and view their drawings, manuals, specifications and so on using the built-in viewer.

The system controls versions so that only authorised releases are available.

Accidental duplication, simultaneous editing or unauthorised copying of files is impossible because the files are stored inside the actual database, not vulnerable drives.

Any file format can be stored and all previous versions of files are saved in perpetuity.

Trix Organizer is scalable with installations from three users to well over 100, with hundreds of thousands of stored drawings and technical documents.

Inaccessible or incorrect documentation causes downtime and waste that can cost thousands of pounds per employee a year.

Trix Organizer can substantially reduce these losses.
