Fiters work well under pressure
Duplex filters designed for use with liquids and gases at pressure up to 400bar can be supplied by EPE (UK).
Duplex filters designed for use with liquids and gases at pressure up to 400bar can be supplied by EPE (UK) These are high-performance products which provide continuous filtration in pipeline systems without the need of shutdown or interruption of flow when filter elements are changed

Meco shaft seals take stand at POWTEX
Meco custom-engineered shaft seals will be on exhibit at the 17th International Powder Technology Exhibition (POWTEX) in Tokyo on 28-31 October 2008.
They are particularly suited to power station gearbox and turbine lubrication systems, together with general hydraulic installations and a wide range of industrial engineering and process line applications.
They provide permanent efficient and effective filtration, giving the necessary high degree of protection for all downstream equipment, particularly for safety critical installations.
The EPE filters all provide high dirt load capacity and can be supplied with a wide selection of replaceable filter media.
These range from low cost pleated paper elements, to stainless steel filters used for military and shipbuilding applications, together with specialised inorganic fibre elements, including those providing additional water absorption properties.
The LD series filters are suitable for lower pressure operation up to 160bar, with eight filter housing capacities available from 0.23 to 2.72 litres.
The LDN series in this range comply with DIN24550 standard and include six filter housings covering the same capacities as the LD series.
For higher operating pressures the D series can be supplied, suitable for 250-400bar operation.
A total of eight filter housings cover capacities from 0.36 to 3.73 litres.
For these higher pressure ratings the equipment features welded rather than cast vessels.
Maintenance indicators can be fitted to signal the need for filter element replacement.
These range from a simple pop-up button, to electrical connectors which can provide both visual and audible alarms as well as provision for remote switching which can include complete shutdown of downstream machines if required.
Irrespective of the line pressure, the force required to changeover the line feed from one filtration vessel to the other is only nominal.
Filter element replacement is simple, with the filter housing unscrewed and withdrawn vertically to give full access to the element.
