The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is pleased to announce the launch of its Innovations in Powder Metallurgy Awards
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is pleased to announce the launch of its Innovations in Powder Metallurgy Awards for 2000.
The prestigious awards scheme has been organised by the EPMA since 1991 and provides valuable recognition for the many advances and achievements in powder metallurgy technology.
This year there will be three main categories for the awards: 1.
Innovations in Powder Metallurgy - Components 2.
Innovations in Powder Metallurgy - Materials 3.
Innovations in Powder Metallurgy - Processing Technology Entries are judged by a multinational panel of experts who evaluate each submission in terms of improved quality, likely cost savings, product or material novelty and the extent to which the development promotes the discipline and encourages increased use of PM materials and technology .
The awards will be presented during EURO PM2000, the EPMAs annual PM conference, this year held in Munich, Germany, October 18-20.
Entry is open to all EPMA full members and any company interested in entering the competition or in becoming a member should contact the EPMA for further information.
