Powder metallurgists to converge on Vienna in 2004

The Powder Metallurgy World Congress 2004 (PM2004) will take place in Vienna, Austria, from the 17th to 21st October 2004.

The Powder Metallurgy World Congress 2004 (PM2004) will take place in Vienna, Austria, from the 17th to 21st October 2004.

The PM2004 technical programme will cover the whole spectrum of powder metallurgy and particulate material technology through a programme of plenary presentations and market reviews from global specialists; an extensive range of oral and poster papers from international experts; plus special seminars focusing on innovative PM applications, as well as essential issues such as quality assurance and management systems, and environment, health and safety.

PM2004 will take place at the Austria Centre Vienna (ACV), Vienna's largest convention facility.

The ACV offers excellent facilities for supporting all of the events that are being organised during PM2004, including plenary and technical sessions, special seminars, a state-of-the-art exhibition, and poster show.

The congress and exhibition will bring together an international audience of key industry professionals facilitating unrivalled customer and exhibitor integration.

The main focus of the exhibition will be the worldwide PM industry equipment, materials and services suppliers.

In addition it is planned to organise a PM products international award winners showcase, assembling for the first time prestigious award winning PM products from around the world.
