Vicenzi becomes Co-Chairman of EUROMIM
Dr Bruno Vicenzi of Italian based MIM producer Mimitalia has agreed to become the Co-Chairman of the EUROMIM group.
Dr Bruno Vicenzi of Italian based MIM producer Mimitalia has agreed to become the Co-Chairman of the EUROMIM group, the representative body within the EPMA for the Europe-wide MIM industry and its suppliers As founder/director of Mimitalia, Dr Vicenzi will help to further develop the activities of the group from an industrial perspective, and one of the key actions that the group will be undertaking this year will be the development of a MIM industry specific proposal for funding under the EU "Craft" programme

EPMA 11th General Assembly report
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) held its 11th General Assembly and Management Seminar in Lindau, Germany, in mid-May 2000, attended by some 70 members and guests.
Peter Brewin, Technical Director of EPMA, whose responsibilities include the association's technical committees and working groups said: "This is a really positive development for EUROMIM and will help to take forward the good work already achieved by the group after the successful MIMNET programme and the subsequent introduction of ISO standard TC 119 for MIM products".
It is planned that the next "open" meeting of the EUROMIM group will be held at the EuroPM2003 Conference at Valencia in October where a special session on MIM is to be held.
