EPMA 11th General Assembly report
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) held its 11th General Assembly and Management Seminar in Lindau, Germany, in mid-May 2000, attended by some 70 members and guests.
The programme will be divided into two main parts: first, a one-week summer school, comprising a mixture of formal presentations, lectures and group workshops; and secondly, one of two short courses of two days' duration, focusing on a key area of the industry in more depth.
The courses will be presented in English and will provide a valuable opportunity to improve delegates' knowledge of the current status of PM technology.
The participation fee for the whole event, the Summer School and the Short Course, is only Eur 195 per person.
This fee includes all relevant course documents, meals, accommodation and a grant towards their travel costs, calculated according to EU rules.
In addition, each participant will receive one year's free student membership to the EPMA, enabling them to obtain discounted rates at the Euro PM Conference and Exhibition among other benefits.
The closing date for applications is 29th April 2005.
