EPMA 11th General Assembly report
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) held its 11th General Assembly and Management Seminar in Lindau, Germany, in mid-May 2000, attended by some 70 members and guests.
These key PM research centres in Europe will collaborate more closely together for the common good of the PM industry and PM technology.
Operating under the auspices of the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA), the partners of PMRadnet have signed a memorandum of understanding to enable them to work together in the following ways: development of collaborative research projects; transfer of students and staff on secondment between partners; sharing equipment on a case by case basis; within the umbrella of EPMA develop links with its sectoral groups to facilitate industry participation in collaborative research programmes; and promote the development of the group.
It is intended that the group will be active in developing proposals under the forthcoming EU Framework Seven, which is due to start by the end of 2006.
