Specialist seminars and a special workshop will be available for delegates at this year's focused Euro PM Congress and Exhibition in Ghent, Belgium.

Specialist seminars on "MIM titanium" supported by Powdermatrix: "Hardmetals as coatings" and a special workshop on "Nano and ultrafine hard materials" will be available for delegates at this year's focused Euro PM Congress and Exhibition, from 23rd to 25th October 2006, in Ghent, Belgium.

The three seminars have been designed for three distinct market sectors, but they will all be aimed at designers, parts manufacturing engineers, powder producers and end users, all of whom have been encouraged to attend.

Additional to the three seminars is a practical session on "Working with diamond tools - theory and practice", sponsored by Hilti, Liechtenstein.

Participants will be able to learn about the design of diamond impregnated tool segments, how diamond tools work and how to select the correct use for diamond tools.

Delegates will also be able to handle diamond tools and have the opportunity to drill holes in concrete.

The seminars will take place on Wednesday 25th October between 0900 and 1230 local time.

Scheduled speakers range from academia through to key industry figures.

All presentations will be in English.

Spaces at the seminars are limited, so to avoid disappointment, please tick the appropriate special workshop/seminar box on the delegate registration form, which is available from the EPMA website.
