The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) elected new officers its annual convention in September in Barcelona, Spain.

The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) elected new officers its annual convention in September in Barcelona, Spain Glyn Clarke, Chairman of BRT Bearings, UK, has been elected to succeed Antonio Cammany, Chief Executive Officer of Epidor, Spain, as EPTDA's President for the coming year

Jan Kristenson, Business Development Manager of AB Sverull, Sweden, will be EPTDA's First Vice President.

Till Blassinger, Vice President of Josef Blassinger, Germany, will be EPTDA's Second Vice President.

Marcel Mak, Managing Director of Spruit Transmissies, The Netherlands, will serve as EPTDA's Treasurer.

Malcolm Ormiston, Director of International Sales of Diamond Chain, UK, has been elected Chair of The Manufacturer Council.

Ralf Kronawitter, Marketing and Sales Director of Iwis Ketten, Germany, will serve as the Manufacturer Council's Vice Chair.

The annual convention in Barcelona was attended by over 300 company representatives from all over Europe as well as the USA and Canada.

The convention offered EPTDA members and guest companies an opportunity to expand their business networks and engage in formal and informal discussions during meetings, seminars and social activities.

The next convention will be held from 28th to 30th September 2005 in Prague, Czech Republic.
