HT Italia's BS7671 can measure current, power factor, active, reactive and apparent power as well as voltage and harmonics on a single-phase system.

The Combi 420 from HT Italia will perform tests on electrical installations in accordance with BS7671( 16th Edition ) and satisfies all the electrical testing requirements of Part P The tester can also accept the HT Italia range of environmental adapters (which are supplied with this Enviro kit) and can measure current, power factor, active, reactive and apparent power as well as voltage and harmonics on a single-phase system

It measures 235 x 165 x 75mm and weighs 1.25kg.

It is supplied with a carry case to hold the tester, leads and a full manufacturer's calibration certificate.

The Combi 420 will perform continuity tests, insulation tests to 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000V, global earth value tests, RCDs test, line and fault loop impedance measurement with prospective short circuit current calculation and phase sequence indication.

The Combi 420 can also perform the new automatic RCD test and the ramp test.

Both the full current and nontrip loop test will give results to two decimal places.

The unit comes with a HT55 transducer probe with for leq and sound level pressure measurements.

Tests are performed according to EN60804 and EN60651(Type 1) standards concerning noise controls on working environments.

The HT55 probe has a RS-232 D nine-pin serial interface for instrument connection and a standard pre-polarised microphone.

The HT53/05 is a transducer probe for luminance measurements from 0.01 to 20.000 Lux.

The HT52/05 is a transducer probe for air temperature/humidity measurements.
