NTS hosts ERI course on pyrotechnic shock

An Equipment Reliability Institute product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 28, 2010

National Technical Systems is hosting an ERI (Equipment Reliability Institute) course in pyrotechnic shock testing, measurement, analysis and calibration, at Santa Clarita, California on 13-15 April.

The course is suitable for anyone that needs to understand and safely conduct tests utilising (or at least simulating) explosions.

The course also covers the measurement, recording and analysis of test hardware during and immediately after those brief events.

Real world pyro shocks occur during explosions and explosive discharges, such as rocket-engine ignition and stage separation.

The course instructor is Vladimir Valentekovich.
