Major Hazards Offshore is now in its 12th year and will be held at the London Marriott Hotel, Regent's Park on the 9th and 10th December 2003.

ERA Technology's well-established international conference, Major Hazards Offshore, is now in its 12th year and will be held at the London Marriott Hotel, Regent's Park on the 9th and 10th December 2003.

Fire, explosion or failure of safety critical systems are the quickest way to bring any company to a stand still; therefore the key to reducing such hazardous incidents, in all types of business, must be preparation.

This conference will give you the chance to join in discussions on mitigating the risks and to explore the impact of human factors and the use of reinforcement measures.

The two-day programme contains papers from industry experts including presentations from: Petrell, Century Dynamics, Kellogg Brown and Root, Computational Industry Technologies, GexCon, University of Liverpool, Petrellus, DNV Consulting, MSL Engineering, Health and Safety Executive, Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants USA, ABB, The Steel Construction Institute, Human Engineering, Cranfield University, Lancaster University, Sauf and ERA Technology.

Dennis O'Leary, HSE Team Leader at BP said of the 2002 conference: "Very worthwhile - starting to take a holistic view of offshore major hazards".
