Eriez vibratory feeders used in tile manufacture

An Eriez Magnetics Europe product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 28, 2009

Eriez vibratory feeders are being used to produce roof tiles manufactured by Sandtoft at their Broomfleet Tileworks, East Yorkshire.

Positioned above the conveyors, the model HC36 High Control vibratory feeders distribute a thin, even layer of sand onto the roof tiles in the processing line at a rate of 150kg/h, to produce the desired finish.

Designed to meet international standards, the rugged construction of the electro-magnetically driven HC36 feeders, combined with their energy-efficient AC drive and low power consumption, make them suitable units for abrasive applications.

The High Control range has precision variable (0-100 per cent) control.

The design of the drive ensures an even spread of the process material.
