3D simulation tackles electromagnetic phenomena
The 2002 version of PAM-CEM Solutions from ESI Group includes many new features for the realistic virtual testing of complex electromagnetic phenomena.
Software models EMC on the road
PAM-CEM Solutions 2004 is a comprehensive software suite for virtual testing of complex electromagnetic phenomena.
When dealing with industrial models, conventional strategies usually rely on either global or local approaches.
PAM-CEM Solutions is able to mix both, with 3D time domain simulations well suited to reflected or diffracted phenomena and a dedicated transmission lines tool for cable networks.
The new version also suits the management of large-scale models.
"With the aim of offering always more predictive tools in electromagnetics, PAM-CEM Solutions is gathering all those enhancements identified by our industrial partners as key features on the road to realistic simulation", says Dr Jean-Claude Kedzia, PAM-CEM Solutions Product Manager.
PAM-CEM Solutions offers improved management of large STL models and Nastran files.
It offers interactive addressing of cable networks, including dynamic allocation, management of different loads on terminal connectors.
It can perform full specification of voltage and current generators.
The 3D computational stage has also been upgraded and CPU optimised.
PAM-CEM Solutions is available on Windows XP or Unix platforms (HP, SUN and IBM) and for Linux kernels (32- and 64bit versions).
