The latest Dymo label printer specifically designed for industrial use is the result of extensive feedback from users of existing labelling products in electrical engineering and datacomms industries.

The latest Dymo label printer specifically designed for industrial use, the ILP 219 is the result of extensive feedback from users of existing labelling products in the electrical engineering and datacommunications industries Fast and simple to use, it is ideal for labelling wires, cables, components, wall sockets, patch panels and for a wide range of other industrial applications

This robust, handheld, bright yellow label printer, with its ABC keyboard, is equipped to print many symbols, including the most commonly used electrical/datacomms symbols and barcodes on a range of vinyl, transparent polyester and nylon tapes between 6 and 19mm wide.

Specific features of this new 180dot/in thermal printer are "wrap around" labels and flags, designed for labelling cables and wires.

It can also be PC connected via USB and has a 64Kbyte memory card that can store data from CAD and other PC files.

Other features include multiple line printing, multiple copy option, incremental numbering, 12 font styles for better clarification, italic, outline, shadow and mirror printing, underline, two box options, justification, alignment and page break options, so that multiple size type and data can be printed on one label.

The Dymo ILP 219 uses a new range of nylon, polyester and coloured vinyl industrial tapes designed specifically for the electrical and datacommunications markets.

Permanent flexible nylon adhesive tape is suitable for labelling non flat surfaces, such as cables.

The tape bends in any direction to fit a curved surface and will stick to round, flexible and even heavily textured surfaces, make it ideal for identifying cables.

The tape has a high scratch and solvent resistance and features easy peel dry font edge backing for ease of use.

It is available in black on white in 12 and 19mm widths.

Coloured vinyl and transparent polyester tapes are also very flexible and their permanent adhesive strength makes them suitable for sticking to uneven and soiled surfaces.

Not only do they stick very well, they are durable and resistant to oil, UV rays, various chemical substances, extreme temperature changes, solvents etc, so the print remains legible at all times.

The vinyl labels, which come in orange, red, yellow, green and white can be used for general announcement, warning, health and safety regulations, user manuals, on doors and tool, machines, switches, multiple sockets, cables etc.

The transparent polyester tape lends itself very well for labels on finished surfaces that need to remain visible.

The tapes are available in various widths (9, 12 and 19mm).

The transparent polyester tape is only available in 9mm.

To ILP219 is available in a Kitcase which retails at GBP 130 plus VAT.
