Plasma cutter has split personality

With Esab Automation's new highly versatile M3 plasma cutting machine, users can switch easily between "quality" and "production" cutting modes.

With Esab Automation's new highly versatile M3 plasma cutting machine, users can switch easily between "quality" and "production" cutting modes It is easy to switch from one mode to another using the M3 CNC controller's cutting database, allowing adaptation to changing cutting requirements

It can cut materials 1 to 50mm thick and companies investing initially in a lower power machines have the option to upgrade at a later date to a higher power source instead of investing in a completely new machine.

Where high quality cutting is needed, the quality mode of the M3 combines fast cutting speeds with high accuracy and a low cut angle (less than 2 degrees).

This means dross free cuts with sharp top edges.

For faster throughput, users then can switch easily to the production mode for high speed cutting up to 35m/min yet still achieving good quality cuts with a cut angle of less than 3.5 degrees.

This M3 is ideal for plasma cutting all conductive materials including mild and stainless steel.

Marking can also be undertaken. Request a free brochure from ESAB Cutting Systems ...
