E-T-A has a wide range of ultra-reliable circuit breakers for equipment (CBEs) with current ratings from 50mA up to 500A and these are on display at this year's Power Electronics Show

E-T-A Circuit Breakers has a wide range of ultra-reliable circuit breakers for equipment (CBEs) and a range of sub-racks and other power distribution systems, which can be pre-wired and configured to customers' requirements E-T-A is a specialist manufacturer of quality protection devices for electronic and electrical equipment

The company offers CBEs with current ratings from 50mA up to 500A.

Activation mechanisms include thermal, thermal magnetic, magnetic and magnetic hydraulic covering the needs of practically any application including high performance products for the aircraft industry.

E-T-A also offers customised circuit protection systems solutions.

Examples include pre-wired 19" racks with hot-swappable CBEs, complete control cabinets ready fitted with CBEs and 19" racks, and various power distribution modules that accept E-T-A circuit breakers of different types.

CBEs provide precisely tuned protection, allowing tripping characteristics to be specified to deliver the required protection.

The high sensitivity of CBEs safeguards equipment against low but potentially harmful overloads, such as slowly increasing currents caused by gradual circuit or component failure, or equipment malfunction or abuse, while allowing normal current surges such as switch-on transients.

CBEs can also be reset and reused once the fault is cleared. Request free introductory details about products from E-T-A Circuit Breakers ...
