Arjo patient handling products are designed to transfer patients typically between bed and chair, or from the floor to a bed, but are also used for bathing.

It is vital that nursing staff, when manoeuvering patients, have very clear and reliable start and emergency stop buttons, together with a precise cut-out capability in the unlikely event that an electrical fault occurs.
The E-T-A 3120F thermal circuit breaker for equipment, with a simple snap-in mounting and very clear green and red buttons, was chosen for the hoists, following a long period of testing for electrical reliability and robustness to withstand knocks.
