Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 4, 2002

A new Circuit Breakers and Control Products catalogue explains the different types of circuit breakers for equipment and how to choose between them for a given application

E-T-A Circuit Breakers, the specialist manufacturer of protection devices for electronic and electrical equipment, has published Issue F of its main catalogue.

Providing comprehensive details of all its circuit breakers, the free catalogue has been expanded to include all the latest products and detailed technical information to assist in circuit breaker selection.

Issue F of E-T-A's Circuit Breakers and Control Products catalogue now runs to 394 pages and can be requested free by telephone or email.

It is broken down into 10 clearly thumb-tabbed sections, including four different classifications of circuit breakers for equipment (CBEs), electronic circuit breakers for power supplies in industrial power distribution systems, 19" racks with distribution rails and modular circuit breakers, and an overview of electronic flow meters and flow monitors (which are covered more fully in a separate catalogue).

All sections are clearly indexed with summary overviews and contain descriptive details of every product.

Photographs and fully dimensioned drawings are included, together with technical data, CBE switching characteristics and product ordering information.

The expanded technical information section explains the different types of CBE and how to choose between them for a given application.

It also provides a detailed insight into CBE contact resistance measurement and its importance in some applications.
