At the Commercial Vehicle Show, E-T-A Circuit Breakers will have its latest battery master switches designed specifically for hazardous goods carrying road vehicles built to meet the 2005 edition of ADR regulations.

Also for the commercial vehicle market, E-T-A will be displaying automatic circuit breakers designed to provide optimum protection for electrical installations; as well as electronic sensors for oil, water, temperature and pressure applications.

The new E-T-A BMS01 Series of battery master switches provides both single pole and double pole switching options for chassis and insulated return systems.

They meet the 2005 edition of ADR regulations and will satisfy the additional requirements of UK operators. The master switches, designed for installation as close as possible to the vehicle's batteries, are operated on/off by means of a control switch in the driver's cab.

Any number of additional operating switches can be sited elsewhere on the vehicle as required.

The E-T-A 1170 is a full-feature, manual reset blade-type fuse replacement designed specifically for commercial vehicles, providing superior protection to fuses through its electrical performance characteristics and its ability to distinguish between temporary surges and genuine overloads.

Colour coding of the manual release actuator facilitates correct current rating selection on the production line, as well as during routine maintenance.

The E-T-A 1610 is a miniaturised version which is also available with an optional colour-coded manual release feature.

Both versions are suitable for plug-in mounting in standard automotive blade-type fuse receptacles, or can be fitted to purpose-designed E-T-A modular mounting bases.

E-T-A 413 and 452 circuit breakers offer electrical circuit protection from 1 to 100A.

They provide very rugged circuit protection for vehicle wiring and components such as fans, fuel pumps, wipers, ignition systems, lights and motors.

E-T-A has a close relationship with Bedia Motorentechnik which manufactures a range of electronic sensors for oil, water, temperature and pressure applications.

E-T-A distributes these products in the UK.
