Scenta is the online services venture founded in 2003 by the Engineering and Technology Board (ETB) The Scenta website was created to develop online support for professionals working in the science, engineering and technology sectors: as well as those considering these a career option

Its objective is to inform its users, connect them to a community of like-minded people and facilitate long-term career development.

Scenta has already established a network of over 70 different content partners providing information and expertise across a range of disciplines.

Features include the Datascenta, a database of SET statistics, which is the easiest way to access facts for proposals and business plans on everything from education to employment conditions and the economy.

If knowing what you want to do - and how to get there - is difficult, help is at hand from Scenta, which has assembled examples of careers in industry - and profiles of the people in them - to guide you on your way.

There's a guide to the latest and best events from the SET community - UK based, international, or at a town near you, as well as a community area enabling you to participate in discussion forums and focusing on cross-disciplinary topics.

There's also a large jobs guide, a comprehensive directory to SET resources, and a new Relax section with its very own SET TV Guide.
