The Engineering Integrity Society will hold a workshop on "Airborne and structure borne noise path analysis" in Birmingham on Wednesday 29th September 2004.

The use of specialist techniques in vehicle noise reduction is becoming well established in design engineering.

This seminar will focus on the use of noise path analysis (NPA), now a practical and advanced technique that engineers have the confidence to add to their range of design tools.

The Engineering Integrity Society has identified a need for better communication of these techniques and their company benefits to new entrants in the field.

This workshop will address such matters as approval of equipment and software selection as well as many other practical issues.

Experts in the field will give informal presentations with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.

Specialist tools and techniques required for NPA will be demonstrated in practical sessions.

The workshop would be ideal for engineers involved with noise reduction in vehicles who are thinking of entering the field of noise path and transfer path analysis.
