The Engineering Integrity Society (EIS) has compiled a second archive CD ROM including PowerPoint presentations and selected papers from meetings and conferences from 2001 to 2003.

The Engineering Integrity Society (EIS) has compiled a second archive CD ROM including PowerPoint presentations and selected papers from meetings and conferences from 2001 to 2003.

The CD provides a valuable and convenient tool to access important presentations and technical information shared at EIS hosted events over the past three years.

The objectives of the EIS are to stimulate the exchange of ideas and information between engineers and technologists, whose interests lie in designing, developing or manufacturing products that must achieve high standards of integrity.

The EIS provides a unique forum for industrial engineers to exchange ideas and experience by holding major national and international conferences, organising and co-ordinating specialist task groups, and presenting regular technical seminars.

The information contained on the archive CD is transferable across many industries and includes global experience, factual test examples and in-depth reports.

"Keeping up-to-date with technical developments is a key requirement for my work".

"It is not always easy finding the time to attend all the seminars and conferences I would wish to attend and a summary of technical papers presented at EIS events is a valuable substitute, even if the value opportunity to network has been lost".

"The CD provides a useful source of information compiled in a convenient format", says Andy Tomlinson, Senior Lecturer, Cranfield University.

"In an industrial environment increasingly short of hands-on experience and practical field examples, this is an essential reference", says Norman Thornton, Head of Test Facilities, nCode International.

Also available is a CD ROM with all the paper copy the society holds on file of presentations and overheads from conferences 1989-2000.

The Engineering Integrity Society also publishes bound volumes of Conference Proceedings, and reports of seminars and Task Groups are published in EIS Journal (free to all members).

The Journal also contains new technical articles and papers.

All EIS events are open to members and nonmembers alike.
