The ETL Group's model 745 pressure and barometric standard transfer unit is designed to give extremely accurate pressure measurements with a resolution of 0.0001% and 0.008% full-scale accuracy.
The ETL Group has released a new high-accuracy pressure and barometric standard transfer unit.
Designated the model 745 it is designed to give extremely accurate pressure measurements with a resolution of 0.0001% and 0.008% full-scale accuracy.
Incorporating Digiquartz transducers, it is able to cover up to 25 absolute and gauge pressure ranges of up to 276MPa, with unsurpassed accuracy, reliability and stability.
The 745 has an easy to read front panel and with a rear panel RS232 computer interface.
It gives immediate readings of the pressure values in any of nine different user-selectable engineering units.
All pressure readings are temperature-compensated and linearised.
Other capabilities include tare functions, pressure and temperature units, resolution, sampling time, number of display units, communication settings, baud rate, and sensor address, and a password that can be selected via the front-panel menu.
Choices for the second line display include an analogue pressure bar graph, sensor temperature, rate of pressure change and stored text or external text.
Software is included to read and log data via the RS232 port.
The unit weighs 1.8kg, comes in a self-contained CE-marked case, and is powered from its AC adapter or for up to 20 hours by four AA cells.
Applications include metrology, aerospace, meteorology, oceanography, energy exploration, reference barometers and laboratory instrumentation.
