Ethernet Direct's industrial Ethernet switches have been approved by the new Korean MIC certificate regulation.

Ethernet Direct's industrial Ethernet switches have been approved by the new Korean MIC certificate regulation.

MIC released a new regulation concerning EMS test for MIC certificate on 29th December, 2006.

The new regulation requires Bureau Veritas labs to apply several new test standards on EMS.

The new surge test has already been effective since January 1, 2007 concerning immunity, signal ports and telecommunication ports.

The new standards include a number of tests carried out on the products.

For ports where primary protection is intended, surges are applied at voltage to ensure product reliability.

Industrial Ethernet switches from Ethernet Direct are designed to develop practical, cost-effective solutions for the plant floor.

The company also takes steps to ensure full compliance with industry accepted technical and environmental standards.
