To this end, Entrix is now offering an increasing range of products from Digi International to provide serial over Ethernet, wireless and GSM/GPRS.
The company is also giving potential users the chance to learn how to use the "Connect" products for just the cost of an integration kit (GBP 189 plus VAT).
The company is offering those who buy the kit a free one day training course on how to use the Connect ME product to network-enable projects, in Bristol on 14th September 2005.
The Digi Connect range of products have enabled many companies to very rapidly get to market with network enabled versions of existing products.
These have included SNMP controlled mains distribution units, console management devices, temperature sensors, refrigerators and many other applications.
New firmware recently released facilitates the customisation of the look and feel of the configuration screens through a web browser and the Connect device servers have a built in web server which can be used with Java applications to control and monitor devices.
