The L101 family from European Safety Systems is available with six lens colours and three alternative light sources.

Measuring 86mm square and 83mm tall, the compact unit is moulded in UL94V0 flame retardant ABS and sealed to IP55, enabling it to be used in the majority of commercial and industrial environments; a gasket kit will increase the ingress protection to IP66.

The L101 may be fitted to any of the sounders manufactured by E2S providing an audible and visual signal where both signals may be operated independently.

The unique 'pyramid' lens design of the L101 allows the light output to be seen from a large viewing angle.

The Xenon tube version is a 5-Joule unit, flashing once per second.

It has the option of being supplied auto synchronised, so all units on the same power loop flash in unison; alternatively, a 'flip-flop' option is link selectable, and units on the same loop will flash alternately.

The Xenon tube version may also be supplied UL listed, NEMA 13 and 3R certified The LED version has an array of eight high output LEDs; the unit flashes every two seconds.

The filament bulb version is rated at 3W and flashes every 1.5 seconds.

Both the LED and filament units can be switched from blinking to steady mode via a third input terminal.

All versions operate from 12, 24 and 48VDC, making them ideal for use with security, fire and telecoms systems; AC versions operate from 24, 110 and 230VAC.

In addition, the Xenon tube units can be powered from 12VDC, 12VAC and 48VAC.
