Rated at IP67, the GP and GP-AS1 safety switches are suitable for use in rigorous production environments, and optional LED displays can also be supplied.
Designed to be the counterpart of the "tried and tested" TP plastic housing safety switch, the GP range employs the same actuation head and actuator.
It also has the same hole fixings as the TP models.
Versatility can be achieved by using either the TP switches (with guard locking) or the GP (without guard locking), depending on installation requirements.
Flexibility is essential for all users of safety switches, something of which Euchner is very aware, and the option of three possible cable entry positions ensures that switch location is made extremely easy.
Also, the GP product range can be supplied with various combinations of contacts and dual-channel wiring is also possible in all variants that feature four contact elements, helping to ensure maximum operator safety.
The GP-AS1, without guard locking, has a direct connection to the AS-Interface bus (using M12 plug connector).
Again, developed as a counterpart to the TP-AS1 and based on proven technology, the new switch can now be connected directly to the ASi-bus.
This allows activation of the guard locking mechanism and LEDs (which are visible even when the cover is open) via the bus, as well as operator protection combined with separate auxiliary power management.
