The Engineering Industries Association is to hold another of its successful Inter-Trade Exhibitions at Pontefract Racecourse on Thursday 27th April, commencing at 1300 BST For just GBP 60 (EIA members GBP 40), companies can take either a table-top on which to display small items, components and literature, or book space for their exhibition display

Buyers from many larger companies in the area have been invited to attend making this an ideal opportunity to make new business contacts or meet with new subcontractors.

Alternatively, visitors are welcome to come along free of charge to meet and talk with exhibitors and other visitors.

A programme of short seminars has been designed to help keep companies up-to-date on matters which may affect their business: "Discrimination - how to comply with forthcoming legislation", presented by ACAS; "How to connect with China", Connect China; "Keeping legal risks ( and costs) in check", Woolley and Co, Solicitors; and "How new FAS rules affect your export insurance", Thornhill and Co (Ins Brokers).

A number of support organisations will also be present, including UKTI, TWI, Leeds Metrology Centre and the National Physics Laboratory, offering advice and support to help companies improve the competitiveness.
