exida (UK) is announcing a new machine safety training course aimed at demystifying the relatively new functional safety standard IEC 62061 (BS EN 62061:2005).

It is particularly relevant to professionals who are responsible for validating the safety of machine control systems that use complex devices such as safety PLCs (or programmable safety systems or safety controllers) for safety duties.

New standards such as this are continually being developed, placing unfamiliar requirements on the task of assuring machine safety.

This in-depth two day course will use practical examples and exercises to back up the theory of the standard.

It will be held from Tuesday 31 January to Wednesday 1 February 2006 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK.
