Exida is announcing the release of a PHA exSILentia import utility.
The utility imports data from existing Process Hazard Analysis (HAZOP) study files into its exSILentia Safety Lifecycle tool, providing user's significant analysis and life cycle cost benefits.
Dyadem's PHA-Pro and Primatech's PHAWorks are leading providers of The Hazard and Risk Assessment phase of the Safety Life-Cycle.
exida's exSILentia is a leading application for providing SIL and LOPA functionality of the remaining Safety Life Cycle process.
Until now these two software applications needed to utilize a manual transfer of data and information to provide a complete Safety Life Cycle analysis.
PHA Import captures all the relevant information from the HAZOP and ensures that all identified hazards and safeguards considered necessary to address them are evaluated.
This is critical because if the hazard has not been identified fully or correctly then all subsequent risk assessment and protection analysis will be founded on faulty information.
PHA Import offers the following benefits: SIF Cause-Consequence relationships are clearly identified and consistently recorded.
SIF justification is traceable back to the PHA study.
Data transfer time is significantly reduced and human translation errors are eliminated.
Utilization of existing PHA applications to initiate the Safety Life-cycle.
