Exico has launched its own range of high-quality three-phase motors to address cost-sensitive applications from 0.18 to 18.5kW Designed and manufactured in Europe to meet the same high standards as other mainstream European products, the crucial difference in this range is their cost competitiveness and full availability

The full range of motors from frame size M63 through to M160 are now held in stock at Exico's distribution centre in Wellingborough, ensuring next-day delivery through its UK network of master stockists.

The distribution network and Exico itself also serve to differentiate the product offering from other sources in the UK as they are predominantly motor specialists who specify, install, repair, rewind and advise on motors as their central function.

Customers have come rely on their knowledge and expertise and can now benefit from new, highly competitive quality motors.

Company MD, Jerry Hodek comments, "Exico satisfy a wide cross-section of requirements for three-phase motors, with many customers preferring to buy household name branded motors, which we cater for, but, there are many situations where solid, reliable performance and cost are the main issues.

The new M Series motors satisfy that market sector perfectly and also give our specialist distributors more flexibility in being able to offer end users the choice between a repair, rewind or a new motor further up the size range".

Motors in frame sizes 63 to 132M are lightweight durable aluminium alloy frames; larger sizes are cast iron for improved strength.

Unusually, immediately after casting, the aluminium motor parts are powder coated and then machined without damaging the paint finish on the motors.

Best practice is used for the motor windings including interphase insulation.

All M-range motors have bolt-on feet and are available with foot, face and flange mounting options.

Enclosures are sealed to IP55 as standard and are approved under the EU Low Voltage and EMC Directives.

The manufacturing is TUV certified ISO9001.
